Utter rubbish. This multipacks of strings looked too good to be true, and indeed it was. I snapped 3 strings trying to restring my guitar, something thats never happened with these strings from my local guitar shop before.
The strings leave a residue on my fingers, meaning they aren’t proper phosphor bronze.

Possuem bons graves e não ficam chiando

Apesar do renome da marca, Infelizmente o produto não durou 1 dia de uso; Oxidou acima do normal e arrebentou a corda sol. Estou muito decepcionado!

  4. Wpw

Fake strings, same bar code on all sets and the barcode was for a different product.

I got these about a year ago and they seemed a little brittle but I needed to replace the old strings, but I did not realize that I had been shipped a fake pack of 3.
I’ve only noticed they were fake when after watching a YouTube video by Phillip McNight on know your gear, pointing out which ones are fake an which are real D’addario strings.
So please beware buyers. It’s too late for me to return these now but I thought I’d give you guys a warning.
If you don’t know that you’ve been shipped a fake pack or not then please give Phil’s channel on YouTube a watch.

I have been playing guitar for 15 years and been using Elixers for at least 10 of those years, until a few months ago, I decided to give these a go after reading a review.
The strings hold tunning very well and are clear and even.
In comparrison to Eilixers, I find them to be warmer and less bright, the Elixers would resonate alot and be very treble heavy, while these have a nice flat response.
Depending on your taste obviously, but these are the string I will use indefinatley.
Another major point is I can buy 3 packs of these for the same price I would pay for one set of Elixers.
I’ve had a set on my acoustic guitar for 2 and a half months ago, playing in an hour or so a day.
I also restrung my other guitar last week and the strings have barely lost any of their energy.
    Quite amazing!
I’d say, give them a go, for the price it’s well worth it .
    Happy strumming.

Having tried all the popular makes, I must say that these are the most suitable for my purpose… I have a Larrivée OM-03 silver oak and
find these are the best strings for fingerstyle and my guitar that I’ve tried so far. No point mentioning all the one I didn’t like and so
I’m not in any way knocking any other maker or type of string but these suit me, the coated ones seem fuzzy and although they will last longer no doubt, they’re three times the price so maybe things even out as regards value.
I’ve only posted this ‘review/opinion’ to hopefully save anyone with a similar instrument and style of playing the bother of going through all
that are on offer, just simply to say try these first and stick with them if you like them and as with many things, cost doesn’t always mean satisfaction is guaranteed.
Please don’t comment arguing against what I’ve written as it’s just my own experience.
