I was intrigued by the animal series and drawn to the unique pieces in this set. I purchased it and tried it out with my 2 and 4 year old. There are five pieces you construct in the set, some are easier than others. The large cherry tree is the most difficult and then followed by the mountain and waterfall scene as observed by my 4 year old. The monkey on the rope swing is his favorite part but he tends to get frustrated when the rope comes off and knocks the top of the tree off with it. My 2 year old was more interested in the animals and the simple building. The book was helpful and my 4 year old was able to build by looking at the pictures. Again, the large cherry tree was a little harder to decipher than the others. I think the lego set is pretty expensive, I bought it on a sale otherwise I might not have purchased it.

We’ve had this about a month and my 4 yr old has greatly expanded his capabilities in both construction and creativity. He is asking for animal set for his birthday now. Overall still happy and I even enjoy building with it.

Beautiful set for young kids. Lots of animals to build and play with. This set also makes noises. Expensive for duplo blocks but get used!
Off-Grid Family –
In my opinion, this set is the best of the new wave of Duplo animals from around the world. You get elephants, tigers, pandas, red pandas, birds, and a monkey. You also get some unique pieces- a large tree trunk, some bamboo stalks, and a vine. And the best brick is the sound brick. Our 2 year old loves to run around just pressing the button and listening to the different sounds that it plays. Our 4 year old was able to follow the instructions and build each mini habitat for the animals. This set has been a lot of fun for our family.

This is a great set for my little kid whom has just turned five and she loves it. The animals in this set are super cute and it really adds to her storytelling ability that they include a lot of parent and baby when it comes to the animals. That’s her primary use for Duplos is to tell stories, and this set is massive easy to put together as a really fun included backdrop playset area all in all, it’s a great Duplo set. It’s completely gift double and is one of those big do you want to wow the kid when they open it kind of gift because that’s the exact response we got.
The only critique I can make is while I still consider this a five star set the $99 price isn’t bad, but if you can pick this up on sale, then this is an outstanding set for everything that you’re getting.

Kids don’t care for the box, but it’s nice when it can be presentable. Considering how scratched it was I had opened it up to make sure everything was in there. Most of the Legos were bagged up but if you were out open I’m not sure if that’s the way it supposed to be or if I received a used product. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift. I believe everything was there however, so I am going to keep
