My wife loves this I’ve bought it every year for years but only from Amazon direct so I know we are getting the real stuff. The only thing that’s changed in all the years is the price it’s just gone up and up.

I’ve used Tresor for years and have always previously purchased/received as a gift from High Street shops. It’s a powerful scent which has usually lasted hours so only one application per day normally required. This bottle purchased via Amazon has the same initial scent but then wears off within a couple of hours. I wondered if it was old stock but the batch code on the tiny sticker underneath the bottle is 38R indicating 2018 manufacture, so must be another issue. Very disappointing. I will go back to purchasing Tresor from a couple of well known High Street department stores.

Having paid the full, going rate of £82.50 for a large 100ml bottle in December 2018 I was very disappointed to find the perfume manufacturer’s batch date code on the bottom of the bottle was April 2016. So it was already 32 months old when I received Amazon’s delivery.
The shelf life is shown as 36 months on Cosmetic Calculator’s web site. Which means the fragrance may perhaps last another 4 months before it starts deteriorating and losing its strength. My wife would have to drench herself in perfume every day to use it all up in time.
It’s one thing paying a bargain price for very old stock. But a complete rip off to pay high prices for perfume which is already 2.66 years old.
And of course you can only see the batch date code on the bottom of the bottle, once you have removed the cellophane and opened the box. Which is not what you want to do if you are wrapping it up to give to your wife as a surprise present.
I could not recommend the supplier Echarme – and will never use them again. To make sure they don’t take you for an idiot and unload their old stock again, I would avoid this supplier.
At least you know when you buy online from the major retailers their stock is fresh – and hasn’t been sitting around for years !
